Call for Fortnum & Mason to Be Stripped of Royal Warrants Over Vile Foie Gras
Department store Fortnum & Mason has become notorious in recent years for continuing to sell foie gras – a highly unethical product which is made by force-feeding ducks and geese until their livers become diseased.
It's outrageous that Fortnum & Mason is allowed to get away with this while still bearing Royal Warrants. After all, the production of foie gras is so cruel that it is illegal in the UK. Its sale also goes against the Royal Warrant Holders Association's guidelines on welfare standards. Read more about the campaign and view the shocking video footage that shows how Fortnum & Mason's foie gras is produced.
|Does this deserve a Royal Warrant?
As long as it continues to sell a product made from the diseased livers of tortured animals, Fortnum & Mason does not deserve to bear the Royal insignia.
Join us in asking the Royal Warrant Holders Association to withdraw the company's warrants at once. Your name and address will also be added to a petition that we will hand
to the association in person.
