Fight Against Animal Experiments: Be a Voice for the Voiceless
With the help of people like you, PETA and its affiliates around the world have had outstanding success helping frightened animals who are hidden behind laboratory walls. Our campaigns and expertise have changed the animal-testing policies of governments, companies, universities, scientists and even multi-national organisations. By supporting our work, spreading the word about animal testing and taking a few simple actions, you can make a real difference.
Right now, you can help bring about change by speaking up for animals to the politicians who ultimately have power over all the experimenters. Every year 12 million animals across the European Union are experimented on and killed in laboratories – and the numbers are going up. The law that governs animal experiments is being revised by the European Parliament right now and we need your help to put pressure on the politicians to get the very best outcome possible. The details of the law have not been finalised yet so by letting our political representatives know how we feel and what we want, we can help millions of animals caged in laboratories - and even stop animals from ever having to face vivisection in the first place.
Please use the form provided to write to the UK government minister who is responsible for overseeing animal experiments and negotiating with the European Union about the new law. And please keep an eye on our action alerts and sign up to PETA Europe’s E-News for information about how you can help over the next few months as the new law moves through the complicated process of being framed.

More Ways to Help
PETA's action alerts and "Cruel Science" campaign pages will keep you up-to-date on the latest developments and campaign targets. Sign up, keep up-to-date, forward information to everyone you know and use your voice to speak for animals. You can also use the power of the purse by buying cosmetics, toiletries and household products that aren't tested on animals, and if you want to give to medical research charities, choose charities which don't conduct animal testing.
